I've been to Sifnos although it was about 15 years ago. Its very quaint but is a small island so unless you just want to have a lazy holiday I wouldn't spend more than 3 or 4 nights there.

do either of them have airports? My days of getting on a ferry between islands are over..

I fancy a bit of greek at the end of september/early october
last place I went to was Cephalonia and itwas awesome..

Sifnos is meant to be one of the best Greek isles. Never been there, though.

Naxos, don't know anything about Sifnos but Naxos is great, I know two people that own property there, their opinion is good enough for me
